A £1 billion Purfleet regeneration scheme has been given the green light by Thurrock Council!
The scheme forms part of the overall £20 billion investment for the Thurrock area, creating homes, jobs and infrastructure and making Thurrock an excellent place to set up your life and career.
Phase one, which is due to commence in spring/summer 2020, will see 61 family homes in Purfleet being built. These will consist of a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes and will be deliberately in keeping with the woodland setting, reflecting the style of homes in the surrounding Conservation Area.
In an attempt to make getting on the housing ladder easier and more affordable, up to 30% of the homes will be available to purchase under the Government’s Shared Ownership scheme.
The developments happening over the next ten years throughout the area, will ensure Thurrock’s success for years to come. This will establish Thurrock as a place of opportunity, enterprise and excellence, where individuals, communities and businesses flourish.
