Abbots Hall Primary Academy is a small, friendly, welcoming school. We have occupied the site since we opened as Abbots Hall Infants and Abbots Hall Junior School in 1963. We are a good school (Ofsted 2016) and we are very proud of our lovely, hard-working and well behaved pupils and committed, hard-working staff.
We are a community academy catering for pupils aged 4 – 11 who live in Stanford-le-Hope and beyond! We are part of the ‘Inspiration Learning Trust’ which is made up of local secondary and primary academies who work closely together to gain the best outcomes for the pupils in our schools.
The school occupies a very spacious site with a large field, two paved play areas with lots of fixed play equipment and areas we have developed into a Literacy Garden and a Nature Garden to promote outdoor learning. Both our Foundation class and our Year 1 class have their own secure play areas. We have excellent facilities including ten classrooms, two halls, a well stocked library and several smaller multi-use areas.
